One of my favorites is spelling them with foam dough and play dough. The kids also use letter beads, pipe cleaners, magnet letters, and mini abc pasta to spell words. Another thing I do is put letter beads into tiny bottles with glitter. The kids have to figure out what word is in the "Mixed up bottle."

-Stephanie :)

I have pictures of some of this on my blog- http://skellyskindergarten.blogspot.com/

email- stephaniekelly03@gmail.comStephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10533629369821777215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4110641142057953066.post-40907651868056454472011-02-13T10:29:51.322-06:002011-02-13T10:29:51.322-06:00I hide a small sticker sheet behind 2 of our daily...I hide a small sticker sheet behind 2 of our daily sight words and we pick a few kids to guess what word it is behind if they can tell me the word they get the stickers. the idea came from teacher tipster.comLynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14183084837132042297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4110641142057953066.post-53420733008450952302011-02-13T10:29:04.172-06:002011-02-13T10:29:04.172-06:00I love to play BOOM! If it has a word on it, they read the word and get to keep the stick. If it says BOOM, they have to put all of their sticks back.

The kids are always requesting this game for center time, and even for indoor recess!

Ms. A
www.peaceloveandfirst.blogspot.com
LNAinATL@gmail.comMs. Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02687004890773063969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4110641142057953066.post-48123096433424817812011-02-13T10:25:29.608-06:002011-02-13T10:25:29.608-06:00I tape sight words on the floor and have the kiddo...I tape sight words on the floor and have the kiddos jump on the words as they learn them. :)

Ms. Morgart
http://curlsandasmile.blogspot.com/
aggiecurls99@aol.comMs. Morgarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00162962323818792396noreply@blogger.com
