Hey to all! Today was our first day back to school after the storm. None of my students were affected by the deadly tornadoes…but we are reaching out to our fellow school system friends.
Talked to my aunt today(she lost her home) and she’s in good spirits.
I have to tell you every time I see pictures or watch the news…I am constantly praising God and giving thanks. God is awesome and to see his spirit move over our state and watch people…perfect strangers reaching out to help their neighbor…it’s just incredible!
I also want to take a minute to say thanks for all the prayers and kind comments. And what better way to say how much I appreciate my blog friends than to throw a sale and give away free stuff to boot.
Starting tomorrow through Wednesday everything in my store is 20% off. You can also use this code TAD11 on Tuesday to get an extra 20% off. How neat is that?
Also, each day this week I’m giving away free stuff.
Here is the first FREEBIE! Click on the picture to download. All you need is a die and game markers. Students roll the dice then they have to read that many OO Words before they can move the rolled number of spaces around the game board.
If you download the game please consider following me or if you already follow me, how about leaving a comment.
Thanks for sharing this. That is the skill for us next week. It will be way helpful!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to know that none of your students (and you!) were affected by the horrible storms. Love the game! Thanks!

I am happy to hear that neither you or your students were affected by the tornadoes. I am so sorry to hear about your aunt's house! I'm glad to hear she is in good spirits. Thank you for sharing this game and the additional TpT discount. I look forward to some shopping tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYolanda,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear everything is ok for you and your students. Those storms were devastating. Thanks so much for the game. I am starting to give some of my individual assessments and this will be great for the others to play while the para monitors them. Liz in South Dakota
Glad to hear things are starting to get back to normal for you and your students.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the free game. We are working on the oo sounds soon.
Thanks so much for the free game. We are starting to wrap things up, and I want to find games to review the skills we have already learned. I'm glad that you and your students are safe.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I have a group of students working on this.

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thanks for all of your awesome ideas this year. Yesterday we had a meeting for all the first grade teachers in the district. I shared your blog along with only 2 other blogs. As a Reading Street district the teachers were very excited to check out your site.
ReplyDeleteAngela...you're going to make me cry!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for thinking of me. I hope all the first grade teachers in your district can find relevant, easy to use ideas for their classrooms. I am so blessed to have wonderful support from teachers just like yourself. Thanks again.
