Call the Man Aunt Bee

“Nip it Andy! Nip it, nip it, nip it…”

Rest in Peace Andy Griffith (1926-2012).

"Nip it Andy...nip it, nip it, nip it." Rest in Peace - Andy Griffith (1926-2012)

No matter how many times I watch the re-runs I still laugh out loud! My favorite episodes are when they featured the Darlings and Earnest T. “No Coffee, Tea, or Punch Thank You” Bass. What’s your favorite episode?

  2. It's too hard to pick just one. My dad knows everything about The Andy Griffith Show so I kinda grew up on it. Today's a sad day. He seemed like such a good man.

  7. I was so sad to hear about this! My heart is sad when I think about what TV used to be like and what it's like today!

That was such a great show. Barney was hilarious! :)

  8. My favorite episode was when he was helping his son with his math homework which was a page of long division problems. He kept telling him the next step, but had no idea why you did the steps....just do it because...

  9. Mr. Mcbeevy is the classic for ALL fathers. When asked by Barney, " so you believe in Mr. Mcbeevy?". Andy's response was " no, I believe in Opie." So, it's The Andy Griffith Show vs. Jersey Shore for today's kids. We are doomed!

  12. I loved that show. Two years ago my family and I stopped in his hometown, Mt.Airy, NC. The town is just like Mayberry; shops are named after characters from the show. There's a nice museum for him as well. You can tell Andy Griffith was a very nice man.

  13. Your post made me smile thinking of all the great memories. It's too hard to pick just one episode. Three of my favorites are when Ernest T gets an education, when Aunt B meets the medicine man and the pickle contest.
