It’s All About the School Supplies Baby

I’m channeling Snoop Dog today. I wanted to tell you about my lovely shopping experience with MPM School Supplies.

They gave me  a 25 dollar gift card to shop till my heart’s content. Here’s a peek at what I bought.

These letters will come in handy for March.Dr Seuss 4 In Red & White Letters Punch Out Reusable

I use index cards and sticky notes all the time during small group instruction. These bright neon cards will work great to highlight chunks. I’ll write the chunk (rime) on the neon card and the onset on plain white index cards.

I’m always making games for use during word work time and this set will go nicely with others I already have. This will be great for a sight word game I’m thinking of making.

Popcorn & Boxes Cut-Outs

I use these cute notepads all the time during a thematic study or for guided writing. I usually cut out a speech bubble with plain copy paper and students go to town writing. Then we tape the speech bubble to the notepad and hang them around the room. The ladybug will be just the ticket when I read aloud The Grouchy Ladybug, or the students could write facts they’ve learned about ladybugs when we complete our science unit on bugs and bees. I’ll use the pumpkins in October, and the owls in November when we study owls, bats and spiders. I always keep these on hand. They make a great go to writing activity.

I have a few things on my wish list and I know I’ll shop there again. My order was delivered so fast! Thanks to MPM School Supplies, because they made my shopping experience so easy, I also like that there was no back ordered stuff. Everything I ordered came at the same time. Love when that happens.
