Happy Thursday! Before I get to Throwback Thursday, first off let me say…I love Instagram!!!!!! But it’s making me one lazy blogger.
Here’s a little of what I’ve been up to on Instagram….
Here is my new word wall! I love it!!!!! Every year I have to deal with torn paper when I take my words down for the year…so I got my wonderful momma to sew some black cotton material onto big squares of quilt batting (measured for the tops of my closet doors) and BAM!!!! I have a cushioned word wall. Now all I have to do is find some cute pushpins and I’m all set!
Another organization project completed. Still Working on the next phase of classroom organization.
New TV show I’m hooked on! Okay who watched Under the Dome? After the first episode I have like 2,345 questions.
Summer Reading
Fun Stuff. I made this and the picture above using the Beautiful Mess App…love it! It lets you add doodles and text to your Instagram pictures.
Okay enough about my current addiction and onto Throwback Thursday. Heidi over at Swamp Frog First Graders is doing a book study on one of my favorite books, Mastering the Basic Math Facts. I even got a comment from one of the authors of the book!!
Well, about two summers ago I made labels for all of the games in the book and I thought I’d repost that so you could find all your labels in one place in case you were following the book study! It’s a long post so be prepared.

Mastering the Basic Math Facts Chapter Two Game Storage Labels
These are just my own versions of storage labels I’m using for the games found in this book. These games are found in Chapter Two: Plus 1 and Plus 2.
I’ve completed the ones for chapter two and I’m working to complete chapter three’s games and have them posted by tomorrow.
My plan is to use the brown mailing envelopes to store the game materials. I’ll laminate and tape the storage labels on the from of each envelope.
Click on any of the pictures to download your copy if you’d like to use them. Don’t forget to leave some love(feedback) my beautiful blogging friends.
Hope you can use them!

ReplyDeleteAwwww thanks so much ladies!!!! I. Love. That. Book.
ReplyDeletethank you for all these wonderful labels. I will have to check out the book as well. Are there more games in the book that go under each of these lables?
ReplyDeleteAwesome labels. Thanks so much! Looks like a great book! Are the games included with the purchase of the book?
ReplyDeleteMelissa and Judy the materials for most of the games are included in the book, or it uses materials you probably already have in your classroom. I only made the storage labels with the directions for each game. I made labels for each game in the entire book...they are ready for download above.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered the book from Amazon. Thanks for the tip and the helpful downloads.
ReplyDeleteI watched the first half of Under the Dome and it was very unsettling to watch! I intend to finish watching it...maybe I have to do it in small doses.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI came across your post about the Readers Struggle book (which is now in my amazon cart) and now this! Thank you!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the labels. They look fantastic! I am wondering about how many of each game you make for students to play? I am a bit overwhelmed, as I would want all students to play each of the games but that would require 13 of each individual game. How do you do this?
