Back to School Math Fun

I’m so excited about math! In addition to reading Math Work Stations I’m reading a ton of other math related professional books. Here’s what my list looks like:

Math Work Stations: Independent Learning You Can Count On, K-2       Guided Math: A Framework for Mathematics Instruction

Teaching Student-Centered Mathematics: Grades K-3      It Makes Sense!: Using Ten-frames to Build Number Sense, Grades K-2

Developing Number Concepts, Book 1: Counting, Comparing, and Pattern  Developing Number Concepts, Book 2: Addition and Subtraction

Number Talks: Helping Children Build Mental Math and Computation Strategies, Grades K-5  Minilessons for Math Practice, Grades K-2

They are all providing insight and lots of ideas to start Math Work Stations off with a blast!
