Invasion of the Body Snatchers!!!!!

If you follow me on Instagram or you’re my Facebook friend, then you know the reasoning for my post title today.

You ever have one of those weeks where the wonderful students you’ve nurtured and taught the entire year suddenly turn on you???

Well this week was my turn for a full on episode of Invasion of the Body Snatchers!!!!

This was me at the end of this week!

It was a week of constant, incessant, continuous, prolonged, ceaseless, unrelenting, chronic, prolonged, sustained tor-ture… so I profusely apologize for not posting the patterns from this post sooner. Click the pictures to get your copies.

Auburn fans rolling the trees one last time in Toomer’s Corner yesterday during the Spring A-Day Game.

 

Here’s a peek at a few things from our week.

Pizza Fractions: The students used four types of toppings for their pizzas. They had to use six individual pieces then write the fractional parts of each topping they chose.

In Went the Cow…

I love Mrs. Wishy Washy!!! It was one of the first big books I purchased for my very first classroom. I used that book until it couldn’t be used anymore…and I still have it, masking taped edges and all.

I was sent a copy of these babies and my students are loving them. I already have my list of guided reading sets I plan to purchase for next school year!

The pictures are wonderful, and the stories are so engaging!
