I usually make 2-3 sets of these cards. The students love playing War. This game can be played with 2-3 students. Shuffle the card and then deal them out. Players turn over the first card in their deck. The person with the highest number gets all the cards in that round. Play continues until all the cards are gone. The winner is the person with the most cards.
Reindeer Facts
This a simple review game of facts to ten. I’m working really hard to promote automaticity in my students in terms of facts to ten. NO COUNTING FINGERS. So I create opportunities every chance I get to let them practice. Print off as many of the numbers cards as you’d like and place them in a bag (I use a holiday gift bag) The student pulls two cards from the bag and writes the addition sentence. Sometimes I have them write a subtraction sentence using the sum of the two cards pulled.
They were a big hit during math station time.
